Kalyani Pronounced Kal-ya-ni is the feminine form of the Sankrit name, Kalyan, meaning auspicious and beautiful. Laurie Pemberton and Shadi Ramey came together for the first time in November of 2007 for a Women's Retreat in Estes Park, Colorado. We wanted to share NIA, food and exploration with other women in our community. The retreat was a beautiful success and we decided we wanted more. It was the beginning of our journey together. We formed Kalyani Conscious Explorations in January of 2008. We plan on offering monthly local workshops and retreats in Boulder and beyond. MISSION STATEMENT: Kalyani Conscious Explorations is dedicated to the ongoing exploration of human evolution. In this most important and auspicious time on our planet we are each being called to manifest our highest potential. It is Kalyani's mission to create ongoing community and opportunities to: share what we know, to create a safe space in which we can be fully present with one another, to teach and trust each other, and to be in joy together. As we explore and assist each other in community; we will each grow, manifest, and evolve in our individual and collective humanity. We welcome EVERYONE from any denomination and faith and any background. We encourage and appreciate diversity at all of our events. We are dedicated to the preservation of our environment. Therefore, we strive to make all of our events Zero Waste. |
